About The Taber Inne & Suites
The Taber Inne has been family owned and operated since 1971.
We are nestled in the heart of Historic Mystic Village. Encompassing 12 buildings, spread over two manicured acres of grounds, this premiere boutique inn offers the perfect blend of warm hospitality and convenience.
Our friendly innkeepers will be glad to keep you informed of local special events, make dinner reservations or other arrangements during your trip. Whether you are looking to enjoy a romantic weekend for two or an extended family reunion for fifty, the Taber Inne has the right styles of rooms and amenities to make your trip to Mystic, the vacation — and memory — of a lifetime.
Our 12 building inn offers a wide range of accommodations starting with the Cavan House. The building, which originally dates back to 1829, has been fully restored, houses four units, and is tastefully decorated with queen-size beds, two-person Jacuzzi, balconies, and private decks.
There is the Wexford House which is the home to luxury, one bedroom units. Four poster beds with canopies, two-person Jacuzzi and fireplace make up the amenities. The Waterford Suites provide an amazing amount of space. There are two floors. The first floor has a living area, fireplace, half bath, wet bar and microwave. The second floor has two bedrooms, two baths, double decks, and central air.
Of course, we have standard rooms at the inn too. You have the choice of king size or two double beds. Well appointed, light and airy, standard hotel rooms. Our newest addition is the East Wing. Here we have extra large luxury rooms with king size beds, fireplaces and whirlpools.
We also have the Carriage house which is on one floor. It boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, microwave, living area with bar, two-person Jacuzzi, fireplace, and private patio.
